Chair(s): Responsible for overall management of the
association.
Membership Coordinator: Responsible for managing membership inquiries
and seeking outlets for membership promotion.
Secretary: Update
online calendar with pertinent community events, send out weekly update emails,
record notes for monthly Board meeting and distribute to Board.
Treasurer: Responsible for the association's finances.
Newsletter Editor: Responsible for producing 6 newsletters a
year.
Web Team (2): Responsible for updates to the website.
Playgroups Coordinator: Organize 1-2 Playgroup Meet & Greets in
addition to facilitating the
information of playgroups.
MNO Coordinator: Organize monthly MNOs for the year.
Mom & Me Coordinator: Organize 3 Mom & Me Events a year.
Dads’ Events
Coordinators: Organize 3 Dad & Me events, and 3+ DNOs
including the Annual Fire Truck Wash/Ice Cream Social.
Winter Playspace
Coordinator: Coordinate a mid-week playspace,
January-April.
Weekday Playtime
Coordinator: Coordinate 1 mid-week trip or craft hour a month (
Family Events Committee (3-4): Coordinate 3-4 weekend or weekday evening
events for families…Movie Night/Potluck, “Family Olympics”, Pajama Party/Game
Nights, etc. that are geared torward allowing families
to socialize and make connections. Might combine with Family Information Nights.
Big Events Committee (4): Coordinate 4 big events for the LPA with each
member being the lead on one of them:
Halloween Party (Oct), Royal Snowball (Jan), Easter Egg Hunt(March/April), SummerFest (June/July).
Quarterly Class Social
Coordinators (8): Coordinate 4 quarterly events each for the
Classes of 2010-2012 and also the Classes of 2013-2015.
Tag Sale Coordinator:
Responsible for the overall coordination of the annual Tag Sale.
Bake
Community Liaison: Organize 4-6 Parent Information Nights a
year, leas with community groups such as the library, recreation department,
local schools, etc. Organize service
projects as appropriate.
Community Support Team (3): Research items/ideas for
fundraising/sponsorship. Procure
donations for events from community members with the assistance of the
Community Liaison where appropriate.
Approach vendors with the opportunity to be part of our Members'
Discounts Program and offer further promotion to them via a free or nominal fee
"sample" class for our members, etc.
Public Relations Chair:
Contact local media with press releases and invitations to cover the big
events for their news outlets.
Publicity Chair: Make
flyers for 6-8 events a year and distribute to Publicity Committee for
distribution. May be
asked to update membership materials as needed.
Publicity Committee(6-8):
Distribute event flyers and membership drive materials to local
businesses, schools, churches, libraries, doctor's offices, etc.
Hospitality Coordinator:
Welcome new members. Coordinate
New Baby Event.

Connections Liaison: Attend 8+ meetings a year with 10 other
parent association representatives at
Shaker Lane Liaison: Report on
Scrapbooking Club
Coordinator: Coordinate monthly meetings of the Scrapbook
Club.
Books and Babies Weekday
Playgroup Coordinator: Coordinate schedule for Books and Babies
Playgroup.
Book Club Coordinator: Coordinate monthly or bi-monthly meetings of
the Book Club.
Skiing Club Coordinator: Organize outings during the winter months.
